Vacancy available: concrete pump mate (Iowa)

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Ida County, Iowa. You will be based at an infrastructure site. You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Your main tasks: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
