Elevator repair technician • Gates County, North Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Gates County, North Carolina. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Day-to-day duties: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
