Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment presser in Michika, Adamawa State. The job is in a garment export house. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases The role involves: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press 4+ years on the tools preferred.
