Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Cooke County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Day to day you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions.
