Horticulturist wanted in Montrose County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horticulturist in Montrose County, Colorado. The job is on the grounds of a hotel resort. Requirements: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers On the job you will handle: • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings Six days a week, one day off. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
