Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Washington County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height The role involves: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required 1+ years on the tools preferred.
