The role involves measure rope tension and check for broken strands; run load and overload tests with test weights; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches. Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics 2+ years on the tools preferred.
