Gtaw welder — Warren County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Warren County, Illinois. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day to day you will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
