Concrete finisher • Saint Louis County, Minnesota

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Saint Louis County, Minnesota. Day to day you will mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. You should have: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
