Slinger signaller — Otero County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Otero County, New Mexico. You will work at a container port. The role involves read lift plans and method statements before starting; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
