Offshore rigger — Capitol Planning Region

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Capitol Planning Region, Connecticut. Your main tasks: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Read lift plans and method statements before starting What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
