Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welding operator in McKinley County, New Mexico. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Day to day you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
