Vertical transportation technician • Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin

Join our team: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
