Gas metal arc welder — Jefferson County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Jefferson County, Indiana. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety You will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch.
