Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane operator in Big Horn County, Montana. You will work on a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
