Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in City of Williamsburg, Virginia. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Contact us to fix an interview.
