Great opportunity: we are hiring an estate gardener in Charles Mix County, South Dakota. The role involves maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings. Ideal candidate: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
