Now hiring: production welder (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production welder in Kleberg County, Texas. You will be based on a structural steel site. The role involves bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
