Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Stearns County, Minnesota. The job is on a high-rise slab pour. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage On the job you will handle: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
