Escalator technician • Montgomery County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring an escalator technician in Montgomery County, Iowa. You will work on a lift modernisation project. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs The role involves: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
