Immediate opening: we are hiring a power press operator in Atlantic County, New Jersey. You will be based at an auto components factory. The role involves: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
