Fire and safety officer wanted in Crockett County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Crockett County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors Requirements: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Rotating shifts.
