Elevator service technician — Allegany County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Allegany County, Maryland. On a typical shift you will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes. Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
