Vacancy available: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Lyman County, South Dakota. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors The role involves check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters.
