Finish carpenter wanted in Monmouthshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Monmouthshire, Wales. You will be based at a shopfitting company. Day to day you will finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. You should have: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Good eye for detail and a clean finish At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
