Counter butcher — Benewah County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a counter butcher in Benewah County, Idaho. The job is in a meat processing plant. On a typical shift you will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Meals and transport allowance provided.
