Gardener — Brunswick County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gardener in Brunswick County, Virginia. The job is in a residential garden complex. The role involves apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings. Ideal candidate: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Full-time with occasional weekends.
