Great opportunity: gas pipe fitter (Akwa Ibom State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Oruk Anam, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based at a boiler and appliance service centre. The role involves set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation. What we are looking for: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Six days a week, one day off.
