Urgent requirement: we are hiring a kitchen cook in Pulaski County, Kentucky. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen On the job you will handle: • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Prepare the mise en place before each service Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $5,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
