Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day to day you will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Rotating shifts.
