Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Shelby County, Tennessee. The role involves: • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
