Automotive paint technician — Bethel Census Area

Vacancy available: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Bethel Census Area, Alaska. The job is at an accident repair centre. Day to day you will bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun. What we are looking for: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Good eye for colour matching and blending 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
