We are recruiting: we are hiring a tig welder in Adams County, Iowa. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding Pay around $5,500 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
