Great opportunity: we are hiring a commis chef in New Hanover County, North Carolina. Your main tasks: • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in What we are looking for: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
