Dogger wanted in Thomas County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a dogger in Thomas County, Nebraska. You will be based at a power plant. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites You will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; read lift plans and method statements before starting; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
