Immediate opening: fabricator-welder (Rivers State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Obio/Akpor, Rivers State. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On a typical shift you will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
