Elevator technician wanted in Lunenburg County

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator technician in Lunenburg County, Virginia. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. The role involves respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes. Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
