Urgent requirement: turning centre operator (North Carolina)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Surry County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy machine shop. On a typical shift you will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; load and index turning tools in the turret. Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
