Gas pipeline fitter — Stewart County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Stewart County, Georgia. Day-to-day duties: • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
