Backhoe operator — Iowa County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Iowa County, Wisconsin. You will work on a housing development site. The role involves clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs. What we are looking for: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
