Gantry crane operator wanted in Pembina County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Pembina County, North Dakota. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. The role involves fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams. You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $170 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
