Immediate opening: argon welding operator (New York)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Cortland County, New York. On a typical shift you will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
