Join our team: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in City and County of Swansea, Wales. On a typical shift you will fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
