Gang bricklayer wanted in Burnet County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Burnet County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
