Concrete labourer wanted in Harrison County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Harrison County, Iowa. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Day-to-day duties: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
