Great opportunity: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Clarion County, Pennsylvania. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Ideal candidate: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry You will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $28 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
