Great opportunity: argon arc welder (Oklahoma)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Nowata County, Oklahoma. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety You will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
