Now hiring: we are hiring an escalator technician in Tioga County, New York. The job is on a lift modernisation project. On a typical shift you will top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
