Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel wireman in Iowa County, Wisconsin. The job is in a power distribution substation. What we are looking for: • Willing to do shift work and breakdown call-outs • 2+ years hands-on wiring and maintenance experience • ITI in electrical trade or wireman certificate Your main tasks: • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Fault-find on motor starters and star-delta panels • Pull and terminate cables in conduit and cable trays • Crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands • Test insulation resistance with a megger • Run conduit, lay PVC trunking and clip cable Six days a week, one day off.
