Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Crawford County, Illinois. You will work on a lift modernisation project. You should have: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota The role involves fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
